Development of a CAV Testbed-enhanced Smart Campus at Morgan State University – Phase 2

Building on a successful initial phase, this project aims to further develop a Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) testbed at Morgan State University. By expanding data extraction, analysis, and safety alert systems using LiDAR and connected vehicle technology, the study seeks to enhance pedestrian anequd traffic safety through dynamic safety warnings and customized traffic conflict assessment. The project is expected to offer insights into real-time traffic management, reduce safety risks, and support effective transportation planning.
